EVENT HIRE TERMS
Payment
To secure your event date, a $250 deposit is required. This deposit is deducted from the final package cost.
The remaining balance is due two weeks prior to your event date, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
If the deposit is not paid within 7 days of receiving your booking confirmation, the event date will be released.
All prices are inclusive of GST unless otherwise stated.
Cancellations are subject to the policy outlined below.
Cancellation Policy
All cancellations must be submitted in writing via email.
Cancellations made more than 14 days prior to the event date will receive a full refund of the $250 deposit.
Cancellations made within 14 days of the event date will forfeit the $250 deposit.
Events Beyond Our Control
Photo Corner is not liable for circumstances that prevent us from attending or fulfilling our service due to events beyond our reasonable control. These may include, but are not limited to, severe weather, serious illness or hospitalisation, power outages, fire, natural disaster, or other unforeseen emergencies.
If we are unable to provide our services due to such events, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide either:
• A full refund of all monies paid, or
• The option to transfer your booking to a new date (subject to availability).
Venue Details
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure all venue address and access details are correct. Photo Corner is not responsible for delays or issues resulting from incorrect or incomplete information.
Hire Period
We will arrive approximately one hour prior to the agreed start time to complete setup, unless otherwise arranged.
The hire period will commence and conclude at the times stated in your booking confirmation.
If we are unable to begin at the scheduled time due to venue access restrictions or event delays, the hire period will still conclude at the agreed finish time.
If you require earlier setup or later pack down outside of your booked hire period, additional staff standby fees may apply.
Termination of Hire
We will not tolerate abusive, threatening or unsafe behaviour toward our staff.
We reserve the right to terminate the hire if:
• Staff safety is compromised
• Equipment is at risk of damage
• Guests are excessively intoxicated or behaving in a dangerous manner
Where possible, we will first speak with the host to resolve the issue before terminating service.
If hire is terminated due to the above reasons, no refunds will be issued.
Image Usage & Copyright
All images captured by Photo Corner remain the property of Photo Corner. Clients receive full personal usage rights to share, print and download their event gallery.
We may use selected images for marketing and promotional purposes. However, we only do so where consent has been provided via the booking form.
We will never use content that is inappropriate, offensive, or personally damaging.
